Christina P. Fay


 

Ms. Fay is Of Counsel to the firm, practicing in the areas of insurance defense, products liability, admiralty, with an emphasis in appellate practice. She has been handling litigation matters for U.S. insurance carriers, corporations, and the State of Louisiana since 1983.

Ms. Fay’s practice includes the defense of personal injury actions against the State of Louisiana, the defense of personal injury automobile accident cases, workmen’s compensation lawsuits, toxic torts (silicosis and asbestosis), hotel/innkeeper liability, commercial litigation, and issues arising out of maritime commerce and contracts. She has handled many matters before both Louisiana State and Federal Courts of Appeal.

Ms. Fay represents clients in all Louisiana state and appellate courts as well as the Louisiana Federal Courts, including the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western, and Middle Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. 

Ms. Fay was formerly an associate of Hulse, Nelson & Wanek, 1983-1995, an associate at the law firm of Ward & Nelson, 1995-2004, a founding partner of Nelson Fay, LLC, 2004-2010, and a founding partner of Fay, Nelson & Fay, 2011.
